La voix passive  = auxiliaire "to be" + participe passé

    (comme en français)

Il peut s’agir du complément d’objet direct de la forme active tel que

    They give me a present

A present is given to me by them = a present passe de complément d’objet direct à sujet

ou alors de l’objet indirecte de la forme active tel que

I am given a present (by them) = me passe d’objet indirect à sujet

Voix active :  The doctor gave me some medicine ===>

Voix passive : I was given some medicine by the doctor

Voix passive I was taught maths by Mr. Potter.

Voix active : The student asked me a question. ===>

Voix active My mother made me a fruit cake. ===>

Voix passive : I was made a fruit cake by my mother

Voix active : The boss paid £100 to each employee. ===>
