He defended the rights of black people to his own country at the time of Aparthaid started in 1948 and ended in 1990. Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in prison. He fought for equality between blacks and whites all his life long. He become the resident of South African in 1994. He was brave energetic , a peace maker, persevering.
